Day 3 B

I got some glossy paper and a few inks today so I could try this.  I must admit that it's really fun to begin to understand the interaction of these products.

Day 3 AA

I decided to get out of  my comfort zone and just "do it".  I took a tag I had messed up and tried using other colors.  I think it's much more interesting than the "realistic" one, but would like opinions of others when you have the time.

Day 3A

I used a star bkgd stamp and a small deer stamp and inked up my embossing folder. I added the tag and put it through the embosser. Then I added just two colors of Distress Inks to finish off the scene. I could have mixed several colors for a more colorful bkgd but decided to leave this one a little more realistic for now.

Day 3

I want to get some supplies to help with these projects.
I did try the first one of the day, using silver glossy paper (which is all I had) and without the blending solution to soften things.  Can't wait to try it with those.
I'm loving learning about the different characteristics of the mediums.

Day 2

I am taking Tim Holtz class "Creative Chemistry 101".
This picture shows the results of using Distress Inks in three different ways.
Tim Holtz is giving us downloads with instructions which we attached to the back of these tags.  At the end of this class we will have a way of quickly reviewing and using our new skills.
